Making invisible money visible again

A story-led money programme for Reception and Key Stage 1

Children see the tap and hear the beep. Pocket Money Adventures helps them see the choice behind it, without asking a child about money at home. Seven weeks in one classroom, free to your school, funded by a local business.

Enhanced DBS certificate supplied (1 June 2026). Barred-list checks were not requested. Update Service membership is not verified. The host must confirm any eligible further checks before delivery.

The one thing that is added to a sponsor's bill, so it is not a surprise. For delivery beyond Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, travel is quoted to the sponsor before anything is booked. Materials beyond thirty children are £3 a child, also to the sponsor. Neither ever reaches the school, which is never invoiced for anything at any stage.
What if the sponsor pulls out halfway through? The sponsorship is invoiced and paid in full before a single school date is set. That is a rule in our own onboarding rather than a promise made for this page: school onboarding does not begin until payment has cleared. A mid-programme withdrawal cannot leave your classroom unfunded. If a sponsor withdrew before payment cleared, your date would not have been set and no parent letter would have gone out, because neither happens until the money has arrived.

We make no claim about Ofsted, inspection outcomes or statutory compliance. The programme contributes to your wider personal, social, health and economic education offer. Nothing here should be read as evidence of statutory compliance.

Take it away with you

Use the current online school pathway for programme decisions and the PMA document library for current governance and due-diligence material. Retired person-led packs are no longer offered as public downloads.

A game and a family resource are in development. They are not part of this decision and are not listed above. Annex D sets out honestly where they stand, if you want to know.
